2/365: With the Chinese Lunar New Year just lurking around the corner, spring cleaning was going on full gear at home. On Sunday afternoon, at least three households in my neighbourhood were water-jetting (and by that I mean using high-pressure water-jet pumps) their compound, including of course, ours. We couldn’t finish cleaning the whole compound that day and so I had to finish off the remainders today.
When I saw the hose which was supposed to connect the tap to our high-pressure pump – leaking, I saw a photo opportunity. Water was sprinkling out in all directions from the breach like a fountain – nothing like what you see in the photo. The 1/1250s shutter speed did its magic and froze each and every droplet in its path. Neat. =)
