36/365: A quick one today before heading out for dinner. This is a piece of our backyard which is now covered in sand – soon to be dominated by a layer of gorgeous carpet grass.
They’re too big to be stones, more like pebbles. If you would scrutinize in between the pebbles you could make out the sand grains. That should give you a rough idea of how big-or small the pebbles are. =D
Oooh you laid out the sand first before planting the carpet grass? Nice! Your garden will be such a beauty when you get all the carpet grass growing. My uncle bought this rather disused semi-detached house and it looked like a big mess before he spent several hundred grands renovating the entire rundown home, including the weed-infested garden. Months later when I visited his garden, the carpet grass made the whole garden so lively!
Yeap. =) Yeah! Carpet grass are gorgeous! Actually our carpet grass is our own long-term DIY project – minimal moolah required but maximum fun involved! Glad to know your uncle’s lawn is looking great, for I can’t wait for them to grow all over the place! =D
I wonder how big are those stones for bare eyes. I like the blurry grass (or was it?) in the middle of the pic.

where are the ants!! lol. love the blurry effect of the pic. =)
I bet they’re burrowing their empire right under that patch of sand. The title is just a play on the phrase ‘Bird’s eye view’. =D
