118/365: ..for 18 whole years.
I’m sure a lot of families starting out in the 80′s or early 90′s would’ve owned this car – the Proton Saga, Malaysia’s first national car. A few cars went in and out of the garage over the past 18 years but our humble 1991 Proton Saga stuck with us all throughout until only recently Dad finally decided to let it go.
No better time to take a family photo with our very first family car.
This made me smile! What a great idea to take a photo with the car that you guys have had so long. Wow, 18 years is very impressive!
We were quite sad when we learned we had to let the car go. Didn’t take long for us to figure out we had to take a family photo with the car. So we did it on a Sunday when the afternoon sun turned out lovely. =)

You bet I had a tonne of memories with this car. Used to have fights, shouts and screams with my sis in those backseats. =P
Hehehe this could be good for a Proton’s official ad, with tag line “unite the family for the 18 years” or something like that. It’s a nice pose. Really!
